My wife and I chose ROCKSALT for our Charlotte Restaurant Week outing and had a great time. We arrived a little early for our OpenTable booking and were seated almost immediately. Off to a good start.
Ordering from the prix fixe menu, we each chose oysters though my wife’s were grilled and mine were raw. First mistake – my wife liked mine more and she’s now an oyster addict. They were that good. Only three but with the cocktail sauce and chimmichurri sauce, very nicely presented.
Main course, we each chose the daily catch. Trout for my wife and swordfish for me. A nice portion served on a base of cauliflower mash that was very delicious and keto-friendly for both of us. Both pieces of fish were cooked perfectly, plated nicely and very tasty. Really enjoyed.
For third course, my wife’s bread pudding was quite sweet and she enjoyed. I chose the cheese plate and skipped the delicious looking cracker. Three big pieces of cheese were a perfect finish to our meal.
Excellent service and I have no problem with a five star review of ROCKSALT. We will be back.
