One night here in January and yes, it was spendy but a lot less than other hotels in the area and with an HGI, you pretty much know what you’re getting. As a Diamond in the HiltonHonors program, I was upgraded to a room on the 7th floor. It has a sliding glass door with access to the roof but it’s not really a terrace. It’s just a space and there’s a sign indicating that you’re not to go out there.
The room was clean and quiet, with a decent work desk that had their high speed internet. Plenty of power outlets and a coffee maker.
I did partake of breakfast. Chafing dishes of potatoes, bacon, sausage and eggs, plus fresh fruit, yogurt, bread and pastries. Oatmeal and omelettes cooked to order. The breakfast room is downstairs.
They do not have self-parking here. It’s valet ($43!) or park on the street. I managed to find a meter, note that the meter needs to be paid until 3am and it only offers a 3 hour max. So good luck with that.
