Very good meal this evening with a colleague. We were here for close to three hours sipping a beer each and then enjoying a delicious dinner.
I opted for the prime rib which was a real bargain for $20. Hard to go wrong with this large piece of beef that was cooked medium rare as I requested. Though some of the fat had to be cut away, it was still a reasonable cut and it was quite tasty. Served with Brussels sprouts and a salad (no potatoes for me, thanks).
My colleague chose a burger and while he did make the mistake of ordering it medium well, he said it was a bit dry. That’s his fault for getting it so overdone and also being on a phone call for a good 20 minutes! Oops.
Stacey was our waitress and she did a great job refreshing our drinks, getting our meals and clearly away dirty plates. She even managed to find some horseradish for my steak. Well done, Stacey.
Nice restaurant in a small town, about two miles from the Interstate. They have street parking and an overflow lot across the street. If they have a wifi, I wasn’t able to make it work.
