After Tilted Kilt made two tries here, this location is now TapHaus. The food seems similar and the waitresses are completely covered and I’m perfectly okay with that.
Bar food and lots of televisions are the order of the day now, though there are a few things that are unusual. Sauteed mussels and lobster hushpuppies and a bone-in pork chop, for instance. And then salads and burgers and mac & cheese and flatbreads. All looking good, with a beer list just as long.
Meeting a friend for lunch and not drinking beer as it’s a work day, I went to the “Blue Foot” burger, bunless. This is a short rib and brisket beef blend with mushrooms and blue cheese and arugula. Quite tasty and I subbed out the “lemon oregano fries” for an order of broccolini.
I’m a fan. I wish this place success!
