Boston Public Library – Chinatown Branch, Boston, MA (11-14-2018)

This is a very small branch of the Boston Public Library system, but I am still surprised that I’m the first to review here. A small collection of books and periodicals, interestingly many of the periodicals are in Asian languages that I do not recognize. Possibly Korean and Kanji?

Anyway, it is a single large room which has two four-top tables, one large “community” table with a dozen seats and a couple smaller chairs with attached desks. There is a copier and a kiosk. Outside in the atrium, a carpeted area that was being used for a children’s reading program. Inside the library room, it is quiet.

They have a number of laptops available to be borrowed by patrons. I’m not sure that I would ever want to use someone else’s laptop but it’s a feature here if that’s useful to you.

The wifi is completely free and unfiltered and quite speedy.
